Lawrence’s journey began at the prestigious Connecticut School of Broadcasting, followed by a successful stint in the restaurant industry, where he honed valuable customer-centric skills. His passion for public speaking led him to become a Minor League Baseball announcer at Roger Dean Stadium. Since 2017, Lawrence has played an indispensable role within the Core Logistics Brokerage team.

Lawrence currently holds two complementary leadership positions within the organization: Enterprise Account Strategist (EAS) and KAS Player Coach.

In his role as Enterprise Account Strategist, Lawrence provides high-level oversight and strategic direction for a broad and diversified portfolio of national accounts. He manages complex LTL and FTL freight programs across multiple industries, ensuring performance, service continuity, and alignment with client requirements at the enterprise level.

Separately, in his capacity as KAS Player Coach, Lawrence serves as a mentor and performance leader to the Key Account Strategist team. He is responsible for coaching, developing, and guiding KAS leaders in the disciplined execution of their account management and supervisory responsibilities, with an emphasis on consistency, process adherence, and elevated client experience.

Across both roles, Lawrence’s contributions have been material to the organization’s long-term success. He has helped drive organic growth, strengthen key client relationships, and enhance operational execution across Core’s largest accounts. His sustained commitment to excellence has earned him three Core MVP Awards and the distinguished 2022 Summit Award. He is also a member of Core’s Rolex Club, an honor reserved for individuals who have demonstrated five consecutive years of exceptional performance and meaningful organizational impact.


Beyond work, Lawrence is a fitness enthusiast, an NFL football and professional golf fanatic, and a dedicated husband and father to two children, Grace and Conor. In all aspects of life, Lawrence O’Brien embodies unwavering dedication and a pursuit of excellence, inspiring those around him.

Miguel Chitty

Key Account Strategist – Core Logistics

Miguel Chitty serves as Key Account Strategist at Core Logistics, where he plays a key role in advancing operational excellence and ensuring exceptional service delivery across Core’s enterprise customer base. A valued member of the organization since 2020, Miguel began his Core career as an Administrative Assistant and advanced through multiple roles of increasing responsibility, including Track & Trace Lead, Operations Coordinator, and Operations Lead, before earning his current position. His steady progression reflects both Core’s commitment to developing internal talent and Miguel’s own drive for continuous improvement, process innovation, and team leadership.

Miguel studied Physical Therapy at Miami Dade College, where he developed a foundation in discipline, structure, and people-centered communications – skills that have strengthened his leadership approach and focus on operational precision.

Prior to joining Core, Miguel served as Engineering Assistant Manager at the Delano Hotel in South Beach, where he led engineering and maintenance teams, managed large-scale capital projects and budgets, and earned the Delano Icon Award twice for outstanding performance and leadership.

Known for his “player coach” mentality, Miguel leads through mentorship, empathy, and accountability. Guided by the belief that “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.” Miguel embodies Core’s Values & Tenants Platform.

Outside of work, Miguel enjoys the outdoors, fitness, gardening, and time with his wife and three dogs. He lives by the principle: “Stay ready so you’ll never have to get ready.”

Kurt Wuest

Key Account Strategist

Kurt Wuest is a results-driven logistics professional recognized for his operational precision, leadership by example, and deep commitment to client success. A graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Kurt combines analytical insight with a collaborative approach that strengthens both team performance and customer satisfaction.

Before joining Core Logistics in 2022, Kurt served as Senior Account Manager at ShipMonk, where he led special projects, managed inbound and outbound LTL and FTL shipments, and coordinated receiving across four national warehouses. His ability to unite people, process, and performance earned him recognition as a trusted leader within operations.

Since joining Core, Kurt has advanced from Operations and Senior Account Management roles to his current position as Key Account Strategist, where his steady leadership and customer-first mentality have played an instrumental role in Core’s continued growth and reputation for service excellence.

An Eagle Scout, Kurt embodies Core’s pillars of Respect and Integrity, believing that authentic leadership begins with action and accountability. His performance has been recognized with the 2022 Wing Man Award and 2023 Pinnacle Award, reflecting his consistency and commitment to Core’s mission.

Outside of work, Kurt is an avid film and music enthusiast whose creative energy mirrors his professional curiosity. Guided by the principle, “To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity,” Kurt personifies the values that define Core Logistics.

Brendan Richey

Senior Business Director, Revenue Growth

Brendan Richey acts in the capacity of Senior Business Director, Revenue Growth for the Core Logistics Brokerage organization. His responsibilities include leading the company’s sales operations and strategic initiatives across the US, Canada and Mexico. Based in Citrus Springs, Florida, Brendan’s career is defined by his extensive experience in logistics and exceptional leadership skills, which have been honed through both military service and successful tenure in the logistics industry.

Brendan’s professional foundation was built during his service in the U.S. Army, where he served as a Military Police Officer from 2005 to 2013. As a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation New Dawn (OND), he demonstrated remarkable leadership and operational expertise in high-stakes environments. In addition to his combat duties, Brendan was responsible for training Iraqi Army and police forces, playing a key role in the stabilization efforts in Iraq. His military career was marked by numerous commendations, including the Army Commendation Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Brendan was honorably discharged in 2013 after completing the Warrior Leadership Course and advancing to the non-commissioned officer rank of Sergeant.

In 2014, following his military service, Brendan transitioned into the logistics industry. He quickly established himself as a dynamic and results-driven professional. His logistics industry experience spans inside and outside sales, operations, and account management. He commands a deep understanding of LTL, FTL, parcel, and various business models, including cradle-to-grave, split, agent, and franchisee operations. Brendan’s expertise and leadership have consistently delivered strong results, earning him several prestigious industry awards, including Unishippers’ coveted Platinum Award given to top performers recognizing the highest tier of achievement within the organization. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Brendan was named the recipient of Core Logistics Brokerage’s 2024 MVP (Most Valuable Player) Award, underscoring his instrumental role in the company’s success.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brendan enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his wife, Jane, and their two children, Alice and Ryan. He is an enthusiast of cars, firearms, and shooting sports, and values spending time with his family and pursuing his passions outside of work.

As Core’s Senior Business Director, Revenue Growth, Brendan continues to leverage his military discipline, industry expertise, and commitment to excellence to drive the growth and success of the Core Logistics organization.

Andre Desranleau

Vice President, International Operations

Andre Desranleau serves as Vice President of International Operations at Core Logistics, where he oversees all U.S. and Colombia-based logistics operations and is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. He leads Core’s domestic brokerage operations, international freight execution, and the company’s rapidly expanding Colombian BPO division, ensuring cross-border alignment, operational scalability, and consistent delivery of high-quality service throughout the organization.

With more than a decade of success in logistics and a Business Management degree from Valencia College, Andre brings deep operational expertise and a strong command of process, performance, and people leadership. His career at Core reflects a strategic progression driven by measurable impact and disciplined execution. Before his promotion to Vice President, Andre served as Senior Business Director and one of Core’s three Commercial POD Leads. In that role, he managed Core’s largest account and led the high-performing team supporting it, reinforcing Core’s reputation for reliability, customer service excellence, and industry-leading operational performance. He also contributed significantly to the development and oversight of Core’s near-shore BPO operations, including Track & Trace and Bid Board functions, helping establish the scalable frameworks that support Core’s growth trajectory.

Andre’s leadership has been recognized through several of Core’s highest honors, including the 2021 Sharpen the Saw Award, 2022 Pinnacle Award, and 2023 MVP Award. These awards underscore his consistent commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and cultural leadership. His ability to elevate KPI discipline, strengthen cross-functional processes, and drive operational clarity makes him a cornerstone of Core’s operational strategy.

Known for his steady, analytical approach and unwavering commitment to excellence, Andre brings structure and accountability to complex environments while empowering teams to perform at their best. His cross-border leadership and strategic mindset position him as a critical driver of Core’s operational execution and long-term scalability.

Outside of work, Andre enjoys working on his car, exploring new technology, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and spending quality time with his family, friends, fiancée, and his two dogs.

Jessica Ardila

Associate Vice President, International BPO Operations

Jessica is a Certified Public Accountant with a specialization in Tax and Forensic Auditing. She began her professional career at Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC), where she worked as an external auditor for six years, focusing primarily on tax auditing.

Over the past decade, Jessica has built an impressive reputation as an independent professional, providing strategic financial and administrative consulting to a diverse range of companies. She has a proven track record of designing and implementing robust accounting structures, optimizing human management processes, and driving growth strategies that lead to sustainable business success.

In her current role as Associate Vice President, International BPO Operations at Core, Jessica leads the company’s Colombian Business Units in Barranquilla, Bogota and Medellín. She excels at driving cross-functional teams to deliver solid commercial results, aligning operations with clear strategic objectives. Jessica’s expertise in financial management and operational strategy has enabled her to consistently improve efficiency, enhance profitability, and scale business operations to achieve long-term success.

On a personal note, Jessica is married to José. They have two young children, Miguel and Lucia, both in preschool. Jessica enjoys countryside travel with her family and exploring new technological applications in agriculture, which reflects her curiosity and commitment to family and continuous learning.

Carlos Ribero

Chief Marketing Officer

Carlos Ribero is a seasoned marketing strategist with over two decades of experience advising Fortune 500 companies and driving growth through innovative, data-driven digital marketing. Known as a “Marketing Alchemist,” he combines analytical insight with creative strategy to help Core Logistics strengthen its brand and accelerate sales.

Carlos brings extensive experience across diverse industries, including transportation, healthcare, consumer goods, retail, food and beverage, technology, entertainment, automotive, and financial services.

Carlos’s professional history includes serving as Partner and Chief Strategist at Inteligencia Research, where he led consumer insights and marketing initiatives for major global brands such as Corona, Modelo, Kraft Foods, ConAgra, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nabisco, and Dunkin’ Donuts. His award-winning campaigns earned back-to-back Ogilvy Advertising Research Awards in 2013 and 2014 for PAM Cooking Spray and the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation.

Earlier in his career, he was Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Natcom Marketing, a full-service marketing communications agency recognized for its creative excellence. There, he directed high-profile accounts including The Florida Lottery, Avaya, Albertsons, Chevron, and 3Com, and oversaw award-winning campaigns such as the Coors/Air France Concorde promotion, which set multiple Guinness World Records.

Brian K. Mathis

Corporate Counsel

As Corporate Counsel to Core Logistics, Brian provides strategic legal guidance across all facets of the business, including commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, insurance structures, and cargo and freight claims.

With over two decades of experience representing transportation companies, brokers, and logistics providers, Brian is widely respected for his ability to blend practical business insight with rigorous legal expertise. His approach emphasizes preventive counsel, sound corporate governance, and decisive representation in commercial and civil litigation.

Brian served in the United States Air Force as an airborne radar technician in the 552nd Operations Group and later worked as an accountant at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Brian brings integrity, clarity, and strategic vision – qualities that align closely with Core Logistics’ commitment to operational excellence and responsible growth.

Matt Friedman

Director of Finance & Accounting

As Lead Accountant for Core Logistics, Matt Friedman provides comprehensive accounting oversight and strategic tax planning that underpin the company’s financial integrity and growth. He manages all aspects of Core’s financial operations, including payroll, payroll tax compliance, bookkeeping, and corporate tax filings.

In addition to overseeing daily accounting functions, Matt plays a key role in financial strategy, forecasting, and performance analysis—ensuring Core maintains fiscal discipline while supporting its rapid expansion.

With nearly two decades of experience serving a diverse range of businesses across and beyond Florida, Matt brings deep technical expertise, sharp analytical acumen, and a meticulous approach that aligns perfectly with Core’s dynamic environment. His analytical rigor and collaborative style make him a trusted financial partner to Core’s leadership team. Matt has worked closely with Core Logistics since 2018, helping ensure financial precision and long-term fiscal sustainability.

Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida in 2009, followed by a master’s degree in taxation in 2010. He also leads Friedman Accounting, Inc. alongside his father, Marc Friedman, who brings over 45 years of accounting experience to their family practice.

Ryan Mancebo

Founding Partner & Managing Director

Ryan Mancebo, Core’s Founding Partner & Managing Director, and a 2009 Dean’s List Graduate of Florida Atlantic University, epitomizes disciplined leadership and profound business expertise. A young freight broker in 2009, Ryan swiftly broke company sales records, earning national acclaim with the Worldwide Express Organization.

In 2014, fueled by his fervent industrialist spirit and logistics passion, Ryan launched the Shipeco organization. This endeavor garnered early success, fostering steady growth that ultimately transformed into today’s Core Logistics Brokerage. As a highly respected Logistics Executive, Ryan anchors the Core Organization on the values of corporate responsibility, customer centricity, and team excellence.

Married to Beth for 11 years, Ryan cherishes their bond alongside their three children: Ava, Gia, and Nico. Beyond business, he exhibits an unwavering dedication to his sports passions, notably football and basketball, as an avid supporter of the Miami Heat and Dolphins franchises.

Ryan’s story radiates personal success, family values, and profound friendships, defining a multifaceted leader who leaves an enduring mark on all aspects of life.

Rick Mancebo

Partner & Managing Director

Rick Mancebo is a respected business leader and mentor, recognized for building high-performance teams through disciplined leadership, operational excellence, and values-driven strategies. He holds a dual degree in Business Administration & Psychology from Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, and has completed numerous Executive Leadership programs at premier institutions including the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Earlier in his career, Rick led national teams across the United States for Fortune 50 and globally headquartered corporations, including Bristol-Myers Squibb (Plainsboro, NJ) and Merck (Darmstadt, Germany). These experiences cemented his conviction that strategic clarity, accountability, and relentless excellence in execution form the foundation for sustained performance. As Rick often says, “vision without execution is hallucination” – a belief that has guided his leadership philosophy throughout his career.

Rick played a pivotal leadership role in transforming J&J Express Shipping, a modest but steadily operating logistics company, into what is now Core Logistics, a nationally recognized, asset-light 3PL serving major equipment-rental and industrial sectors. Partnering with his son, Ryan Mancebo, and a small group of early partners, Rick led the design of the company’s structure, culture, and growth strategy from the ground up, establishing the framework for a highly trusted and resilient organization in the 3PL industry.

Under his direction, Core has grown into a scalable, technology-enabled powerhouse distinguished by consistent performance and a reputation for integrity. Rick pioneered the Core 7 Values Platform, embedding transparency, discipline, and shared success into every decision. A committed developer of talent, he continues to mentor Core’s next generation of leaders to ensure the company’s culture of safety, courage, achievement, respect, responsibility, integrity and transparency drive enduring executional excellence and accountability. Rick’s proudest achievements aren’t measured in revenue but in people, colleagues, partners, and professionals whose growth he’s been privileged to influence.

He and his wife, Dorothy (“Dee”), have been married for 42 years and are the proud parents of three accomplished adult children and grandparents to six. Raised in Miami’s Cuban-American community, Rick credits his immigrant roots and his father’s example for instilling the perseverance, humility, and purpose that continue to guide his life and leadership. Grounded in faith, he lives by a simple creed; God, family, friends, and career, a sequence that defines how he leads and measures true success. Outside of work, Rick and his wife enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and time spending with family and friends.

Dorothy Mancebo

Partner & Chief Human Resources & Information Technology Officer

Dorothy Mancebo is a Partner and the Chief Human Resources & IT Officer of Core Logistics Brokerage. She serves as a seasoned, highly versed leader who has helped shape the company’s culture, operational foundation, and long-term organizational resilience. With deep expertise across both human capital management and systems engineering, Dorothy has been instrumental in designing the infrastructure that supports Core’s national, high-growth brokerage platform.

Dorothy holds a degree in Data Processing from Baker College in Flint, Michigan, and earned her Human Resources certification from Florida Atlantic University. She began her career as a Programmer Analyst at Genesee Bank before progressing to Key Pharmaceuticals and Eastern Airlines, where she designed and implemented HR and payroll systems that strengthened organizational accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Her expertise continued to deepen at Miami-Dade County, where she developed integrated payroll, inventory, and communications applications, and later at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, where she served as Senior Programmer Analyst overseeing mission-critical HR, Benefits, and Payroll systems supporting thousands of employees. These progressively expanding roles refined her ability to lead technical development, ensure system reliability, and support large-scale organizational operations with exceptional precision.

Dorothy’s depth of experience became foundational to the transformation of J&J Express Shipping into what is now Core Logistics Brokerage. She helped design the company’s earliest HR processes, payroll frameworks, data-management standards, and IT protocols—establishing the groundwork for Core’s scalable, compliance-driven operating model.

Since Core’s formal launch in 2018, Dorothy has led all Human Resources, Onboarding, Benefits Administration, IT Procurement, Security, Access Control, and enterprise software deployment. Dorothy has been married to fellow Partner Rick Mancebo for more than 42 years and is the proud mother of three and grandmother of six. She enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and time with family and friends.

Beth Mancebo, along with her husband Ryan Mancebo, stand as the visionary founders of the Core organization. Armed with a degree in Graphic Design from the New England Institute of Art, and successful completion of a Human Resources Program at Florida Atlantic University, Beth launched an impressive career path which provisions her significant contributions to the HR and Accounting domains at Core.

Her tenure at Randstad NV, a multinational Human Resources Consulting Firm, showcased her as a masterful HR Specialist. During her tenure Beth oversaw the intricate process of recruiting, interviewing, and hiring across multifaceted industries. Her journey into logistics commenced with the inception of Shipeco in 2013. It is here that Beth developed an understanding of multiple diverse logistics accounting platforms which led to the consolidation of intricate IT platforms leading to the construct of Core Logistics’ accounting system, closely aligning US and Colombian based operations.

Beth’s personal life is just as vibrant. She is an active member of the Parkland community and is highly involved in youth soccer, baseball, cheer and softball with her three beautiful children. Beth has coordinated Core’s sponsorships and support of the youth sports in Parkland, FL over the years. Beth’s unwavering dedication resonates in both her professional and personal endeavors, enriching the Core organization’s journey.

Rafael is a respected logistics professional from Barranquilla, Colombia. He possesses a bachelor’s degree in international business from Universidad del Norte. Rafa’s career trajectory at Core Logistics has been nothing short of impressive, commencing as a Bid Board Sales Representative, rapidly advancing through the ranks, and most recently assuming the role of Vice-President of BPO Operations, Revenue Divisions.

Rafael’s was awarded Core’s prestigious MVP Award in 2022. This celebrated award is a testament to his exemplary performance and unwavering dedication to the organization. In his present capacity, Rafael is responsible for overseeing the Tele-Sales, Bidding & Carrier Sales Departments, ensuring the seamless execution of operations, and inspiring his teams to consistently surpass their objectives. With four years of invaluable logistics expertise, Rafael brings a wealth of knowledge to the organization. His substantial contributions to the company are exemplified by his pivotal role in advancing revenue generation within Core’s Colombian operations.

His skilled training and strategic placement of new hires has significantly contributed to the augmentation of the company’s profits.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Rafael immerses himself in the literary works of distinguished authors such as Isaac Asimov, Edgar Allan Poe, and William Faulkner. He passionately supports Junior de Barranquilla in soccer and the Dallas Mavericks in basketball. In addition to his diverse interests, Rafael maintains an active lifestyle, incorporating regular gym workouts and Karate practice.
